Tongariro self guided walk, it’s NZ’s perfect summer getaway. Described as one of the best one day walks in the world. Situated in the World Heritage Tongariro National Park the Tongariro Crossing in one of New Zealand’s ‘must do’ activities plus you gain the experience of an active volcano!
Stay 2 nights and you’ll get the third night for free. Gives more flexibility, you can choose the best day for Tongariro Crossing and then investigate other mountain activities, local walks and tracks on the other day. Then once your back take a relaxing spa.

The historical Old Coach road trail is great for the family. From Horopito to Ohakune the track is mostly downhill and more enjoyable for the beginner/novice mountain biker. There are a few small climbs when riding the trail this way, but more downhill. For the experienced mountain biker departing from Ohakune riding to Horopito and back is a great option for a 30km ride.
2 nights minimum and you’ll get the third night for free. Gives more flexibility, you can choose the best day for mountain biking and then investigate other mountain activities, local walks and tracks on the other day.

Ruapehu Golf
Waimarino Golf Club – 18 Holes $35pp
Situated on the doorstep of Mt Ruapehu, Central Plateau, North Island, this championship 18 hole, par 71 golf course with a most recent NZGA rating of 71.9 makes it the third highest rating golf course in the Manawatu and Wanganui region.
The course has 4 sets of tees, 3 rated suitable for ladies and 4 for men so catering for all levels of golf. Recent changes have seen the course improve dramatically with bunkers rebuilt and quality sand used.
